Goodnight, Sleep Tight

I wrote Goodnight, Sleep Tight for my nine-month-old son, late at night after singing him to sleep. A piano lullaby from a father to his baby: the house is quiet, a small hand is wrapped around his finger, and he says the things he wants his child to grow up knowing.
It’s late and oh so quiet,

everyone is dreaming now,
everyone but you and me.
